Refreshing a future-focused finance player

Mount Capital is a private investment manager and non-bank lender offering flexible property financing across New Zealand. They needed a fresh brand identity to reflect their progressive, new, future-focused business.

Conceived in Mount Maunganui, Mount Capital had a desire to involve the natural world within their brand. The vast potential of the ocean and the underlying currents that drive it, became the brand metaphor.

The logo depicts the Mount and it’s shimmering reflection on the water, combining to take on an elegant jewel form. The logo's triangular sparkles are utilised in a dynamic visual language, forming shimmering patterns and illustrations. 3D rendered water currents capture the beauty and power of the ocean in an bold and original fashion.
