Distilling modernist architecture through an abstract brand identity.
Edition is a new development of 18 luxury apartments located in the central Auckland suburb of Parnell. Designed by architects Monk Mackenzie and with interiors by Bureaux the building is set to begin construction soon.
South were approached by the developers, LEP Construction, to create an identity and set of sales material that would assist the real estate team in presenting the project to potential buyers.
We were heavily influenced by the architecture of Monk Mackenzie – from the building's modernist forms, the colour palette and in particular the glass brick façade making its way into all areas of our work. We wanted to capture the essence of the building and translate it into a unique identity to help Edition distinguish itself in Auckland's crowded apartment market.
